GLOBAL FEMINISM IN THE YEAR 2000
      INTERNATIONAL ISSUES AFFECTING WOMEN

One of the main objectives of global feminism is the emphasis
of working towards the goal of women’s political, economic,
and social equality and empowerment. Global feminism examines
women’s rights across the globe and promotes the assertion that
human rights are women’s rights.

Global feminism also examines how freedoms differ from country
to country. This exhibit details some of the global issues and
rights that are concerning women internationally in the year 2000.
The purpose of this exhibit is to encourage the examination of
some of the international issues impacting women.
