Located in Boerne, Texas, the ranch was owned by Ralph E. Fair and managed by James Grote.

Includes images of Santa Gertrudis bulls named Tomado, on the ranch near Pleasanton (originally from King Ranch), and Sid's Ditto, seven-time grand champion at the Pan-American Livestock Exposition in Dallas, 1963. Owned by Perry R. Bass and Sid W. Richardson Interests, Fair Oaks Farms was located in Pleasanton, Texas and possibly had another location in Washington, Idaho.

Its manager, Roy Richerson, was well known, having worked with the Hereford Journal for forty years and serving a field representative.

The approximately 12,000 acre ranch was located near Comanche, Oklahoma and raised Hereford cattle. The owner, Charlie Featherston, had worked on the SMS Flat Top Ranch for two years.

FR097 Flat Top Ranch

Includes various images of Hereford cattle and bulls in pasture and near water, Charles Pettit, Bill Roberts, an automobile and tractor in tall grass, hanging carcasses of bobcats and foxes, quails in pens, antelopes in fields, and various ranch improvements including gardens and cattle guards, feed troughs, house, barns and fencing, grasses, and brush. Comprising of about 17,000 acres, the ranch's owner Charles Petitt was know to aggressively pursue ranch improvements. Aside from raising Hereford cattle, the Walnut Springs, Texas, ranch was started as a conservation project, with controlled grazing programs, lakes that were stocked with various types of fish, and served a controlled wildlife game reserve.

FR103 6666 Ranches [Four Sixes Ranches]

Includes a wide variety of images depicting ranch life such as chuckwagons, horse branding, horse shows, sales, and barbecues, buildings, cowboys and other personnel mounted and on foot, Hereford cattle in pasture and pens, horses (individual and in herd), mule and colt, ranch entrance, house and interior, cutting horses and riders, and people posing, working, and in crowds. The 6666 Ranches was comprised of several branches- the Triangle Ranch in Iowa Park, Texas (from 1910) and in Paducah, Texas (from 1924); the Tom L. Burnett Cattle Company in Iowa Park, Texas; the S. B. Burnett Estate in Panhandle, Texas; and the Dixon Creek branch in Panhandle, Texas. Hereford cattle and horses were raised on the ranches.
