FR151 Kallison's Diamond K Ranch

Includes Hereford cattle in pasture, gate entrance, a mission, and a rider with cattle.
The 3,000 acre ranch was located 18 miles north of San Antonio, Texas. Established in
1910, it was taken over in 1930 by Perry Kallison to become part of the Kallison Estate.
With his brother, Morris, the Kallisons maintained other businesses in San Antonio,
including Kallison's Big Old Country Store.

Images include aerial views of the ranch, various buildings, and a man by car. The 10,000
acre ranch was located twenty miles southwest of Denver and consisted of various
buildings, barns, and corrals. In 1940, W. L. Allen was the owner.

generation ranch, it was comprised of 20,000 acres in Alpine, Texas, that raised
registered hereford cattle.
FR155 King Ranch

Includes various images of cattle auctions and sales, people at party, Santa Gertrudis
cattle in pasture and pens, people at auctions and sales, people with cattle, people with
tour bus, riders with cattle, chuckwagon, several buildings, people with horses, riders,
cattle branding, horses in pasture, men skinning a carcass, the gate entrance, a
graveyard, and "Kleberg county" and "Old Sorrel" plaque. The almost
1,000,000 acre King Ranch in Kingsville,Texas, was one of the first big ranches to take up
extensive tree eradication in pastures, and raised Santa Gertrudis cattle and Quarter
horses. Robert J. Kleberg Jr. served as president and manager of the ranch.
