Conference on the Sowell Collection

Please join us in celebrating the James Sowell Family Collection in Literature, Community and the Natural World. Our special guests include David Quammen, Gretel Ehrlich, Barry Lopez, and Gary Paul Nabhan, notable and award-winning writers whose papers are included in the Sowell Collection. All events are free and open to the public. Reservations are required for the opening banquet. Contact Dr. Diane Warner (diane.warner@ttu.edu) for reservations.

Accommodations
A block of rooms is available at Staybridge Suites, located at the intersection of University and 19th on the southeastern corner of the Texas Tech University campus. Twenty-five rooms are reserved for four nights (from Wednesday, April 25th to Sunday, April 29th) at $116.00 per night. Please contact the hotel directly at (806) 765-8900 for reservations; mention your affiliation with the Sowell Conference. You must make your reservation on or before Wednesday, April 11th.
